SAM WRIGHT
Sam Wright is the founding director of Straight Lines Consultancy and brings over 20 years of experience in corporate governance, corporate finance, and the administration of ASX-listed companies. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, and the Governance Institute of Australia.
Sam is currently a director of ASX-listed companies Great Dirt Resources Ltd, Reach Resources Ltd, and Structural Monitoring Systems Plc.
He also serves as Company Secretary for Resolute Mining Ltd, a company dual listed on the ASX and London Stock Exchange, as well as Buxton Resources Ltd and Dynamic Group Holdings Ltd, both dual listed on the ASX and Börse Frankfurt.
Throughout his career, Sam has held director and company secretary roles across Australia, North America, and the United Kingdom. He has deep expertise in public company operations, including ASX and ASIC compliance, corporate governance, statutory financial reporting, IPOs, M&A transactions, and stakeholder engagement with both retail and institutional investors.

GARY ELWELL
Gary Elwell is a seasoned finance professional with over 25 years of experience in senior accounting roles with ASX-listed companies. He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer for Alvo Minerals Ltd, Aruma Resources Ltd, Buxton Resources Ltd, Petrex Australia Ltd, Strategic Elements Ltd, and Structural Monitoring Systems Plc.
Previously, Gary held senior finance roles with Canyon Resources Ltd, Crusader Resources Ltd, LifeCare Health Ltd, Nexus Minerals Ltd, Quadrant Iridium Ltd, and Transaction Solutions International Ltd.
Gary has deep expertise in IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, backdoor listings, audits, ASX compliance, and statutory financial reporting. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Northumbria (UK) and is an Associate of both the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA).

TIM WHYTE
Tim Whyte is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of corporate finance experience across diverse sectors, including food, agriculture, manufacturing, mining, and oil & gas. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Taxation from Curtin University and is currently completing a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance and Risk Management through the Governance Institute of Australia and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
Tim began his career in EY’s Audit and Transactions divisions and went on to hold senior finance roles in the UK natural resources sector, including Group Finance positions at Anglo American Plc and Ophir Energy Plc. He later served as CFO of ASX-listed Wide Open Agriculture Ltd, where he played a key role in the company’s growth from a $15 million to $150 million market capitalisation.
Tim is currently CFO of the unlisted public companies Eco Detection, SeaStock, and Universal Biosecurity, and also acts as Company Secretary of Geraldton Fuel Company.
Tim is known for his commitment to delivering high-quality service and thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

THOMAS MAY
Thomas May is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in corporate governance, financial management, and capital markets. He currently serves as Company Secretary for Resolute Mining Ltd, a dual-listed company on the ASX and London Stock Exchange; Dynamic Group Holdings Ltd, dual-listed on the ASX and Börse Frankfurt; wholesale Australian Financial Services Licensee, Liquidity; and unlisted public company, Advanced Transmission Holdings Limited.
Thomas holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from The University of Western Australia and a governance qualification from the Governance Institute of Australia. With a foundation in accounting, including experience at PwC, he is committed to administrative efficiency and regulatory compliance, playing a critical role in upholding governance standards.
In addition to his corporate governance work, Thomas has experience in the equities space, having managed books for financial transactions including placements, IPOs, seed capital raisings, and debt funding. His diverse expertise and professional integrity make him a valuable contributor to each of the organisations he supports.

JOHN WRIGHT
John Wright is a specialist in local government financial sustainability and governance. John has provided hands-on assistance to a wide range of councils in various States and the Northern Territory, particularly rural and remote Councils.
He also has assisted the National Treasury of South Africa and the Indonesian Ministry of Finance in implementing local government financial reforms and training in those countries.
John has particular expertise in long-term financial planning, budgeting, treasury management and establishing financial and asset management policies and strategies. John is a Member of the Institute of Public Accountants.
